Double Country House

Project Description:

This is project entailed the design of a pair of houses for two siblings and their respective families, set in a pastoral landscape. The main entry point is to the north, positioned under a lofty projecting roof canopy that suggests the roof as a canopy partially independent in plan of the walls. One moves through a series of spaces to living areas that open to the south as a rectangular projection and to the west as a sweeping bay window. This house has been designed to the Passive House standard.
