We celebrate heritage and respect ecology in harmony with development

Our experience in architecture and landscape architecture ensures a holistic integration and balance between buildings, public realm and landscape in each scheme we undertake.
We offer all the project fundamentals you'd expect, including managing and communicating with stakeholders throughout the process. This includes due response to conservation requirements.
We conduct thorough social and scientific assessments, while balancing economic and environmental responsibilities.

"We planned an extensive renovation of our home and contacted MosArt about the possibilities of going passive and are glad we did so. From the beginning to the end of the process both in professional and personal terms the team was a pleasure to work with. They accompanied our journey from the design to the final sign-off and played a key role at each stage. First we gained an understanding and insight into what distinguished passive house design and build from more conventional methods enabling us to appreciate the potential benefits of this evidence-led scientific approach to every aspect of design, build and finish. Art McCormack of MosArt also brought the aesthetic eye of a good architect. Numerous points of detail, small in themselves, but elegant in the round complemented the science–led foundation of the build. In the end, as the saying goes, the proof of the pudding is in the eating and in our case the outcome is all that we could have hoped for - and more." MosArt made a key contribution. We are glad we found them and pleased that they worked with us in such a comprehensive, diligent and ultimately successful way.

Preliminary Work
MosArt commences by becoming familiar with national and county based policies and objectives affecting the proposed development. The process also usually involves contribution to refining the client requirements (the brief).
Baseline and initial impact assessment studies may be required for larger developments, an area in which MosArt has been involved for more than 25 years.
With our experience in urban morphology including existing urban fabric, MosArt is well placed to produce harmonious and integrated arrangements of buildings and space. Moreover, our parallel expertise in architecture and landscape architecture allows us to offer a more complete service. The latter can also include achieving energy performance to nZEB. In fact our experience in working on nearly Zero Energy Communities (nZEC) provides an important basis for the creation of energy optimised communities.
